Scientist, urodzony w Kingstone na Jamajce w roku 1960, znany również jako Hopeton Brown. Przyjaźnił się i pracował z King Tubby'm, jednym z prekursorów reggea dub. Rozstał się z Baryłkowatym Królem w latach 70 XX wieku. Został głównym twórcą w Channel One Studio, założonego przez chińsko jamajskich braci Joseph'a i Ernest'a Hoo Kim.
