Mr. Vegas naprawde nazywa sie Clifford Smith urodzil sie w 1974 roku w Kingston na Jamajce. Slawe w 1998 roku przyniosly mu takie piosenki jak "Yu Sure" , "Jack It Up" czy "Nike Air" ktory stal sie ogromnym hitem na Jamajce nastepny singiel "Heads High" kontynuowal sukcesy ktore odnosil na Jamajce w Wielkiej Brytani wskakujac na 69 miejsce US R&B chart. Vegas stawal sie coraz bardziej popularny wystepujac na Featuringach u takich artystow jak Sean Paul. W 1998 roku wydal swoj debiutancki album pt. Heads High (Greensleeves Records) a nastepnie Mr. Vegas 1999(VP Records), Damn Rights 2001 (VP Records), Pull Up 2004 (Delicious Vinyl), Hot It Up 2007 (Universal Records) oraz wydana w 2008 roku Kompilacja The Hits. Niestety Mr. Vegas w pazdzierniku 2008 r. postanowil zakonczyc kariere oficjalnie ze wzgledu na chec poswiecenia czasu rodzine, mniej oficjalnie z powodu problemow zdrowodnych. Ostatnia trasa koncertowa "Mus Come A Road" odbedzie sie w 2009 roku.
