Skindred to brytyjski czteroosobowy zespół muzyczny z Newport grający połączenie metalu, punka, reggae, dancehallu i drum'n'bassu. W skład grupy wchodzili: Benji Webbe (wokal), Daniel Pugsley (bass), Martin "Ginge" Ford (perkusja) i Jeff Rose (gitara), w 2002 roku dwóch ostatnich opuściło grupę, a ich miejsce zajęli: Dirty Arya (perkusja) i Mikey Dee (gitara). Zespół powstał w 2001 roku po rozpadzie grupy Dub War. Jak do tej pory wydali dwa albumy - Babylon (2004) i Roots Rock Riot (2007)
